2017 Holiday Give Back Week

Starting in 2015, Lifetime Creations has identified local nonprofits to give a portion of its holiday sales to. Read more about past years here.

While we are in the business of selling personalized gifts, the chaos surrounding Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday, etc. has always left us feeling conflicted. This has been a way for us to connect the holiday spirit and holiday shopping season in a meaningful way.

Together, we believe we can make a significant impact within our communities and bring a bit of happiness to those in need.

2017 Give Back Week: Charitable Recipients
Lifetime Creations will donate 10% of its sales between Monday, Nov. 20 through Monday, Nov. 27 to be distributed between the South Suburban Family Shelter and The Flamini Foundation/KanesKrew.

1.  South Suburban Family Shelter
Located in the south suburbs of Chicago, SSFS provides comprehensive, coordinated services to families in which domestic violence exists.

In addition to general services, proceeds will be used for its annual Adopt-A-Family Holiday program in which gifts and a holiday meal will be donated. Learn more about the South Suburban Family Shelter here.No automatic alt text available.

2.  The Flamini Foundation/KanesKrew
This organization is based on the belief that sick children and their families should be blessed with all of the happiness that we can offer, and provides essential items and goods and hand tied fleece blankets to Children's Hospitals, PICU, NICU, Ante-partum and Ronald McDonald Houses in Illinois and NWI.

KanesKrew started when a local mom, whose child was staying in the hospital, shared that one of their better, more joyful days was a day when they received a handmade, colorful & cozy blanket. Knowing this story, a friend took it upon herself to honor her child's memory by hosting a blanket making party in her home to make those very same type of blankets for other children in the hospital.

Proceeds will be used to purchase fleece fabric gift cards that KanesKrew will utilize to make and deliver handmade fleece blankets to children and their families at local hospitals. Learn more here.
