Privacy Policy

Lifetime Creations, Inc. (“Lifetime Creations”, “we” , or “us” as the context may require) takes your privacy seriously. Our policy is clear: we collect no personally identifiable information about you when you use the Lifetime Creations website (the “Site”) unless you provide that information to us. Unless we have your authorization or are required to do so by law or other extraordinary circumstances, we will not share with any third party the personally identifiable information that we obtain from you.

WHAT THIS PRIVACY POLICY COVERS

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) covers our treatment of information we collect when you use any Lifetime Creations web site (including, but not limited to, lifetimecreations.net) (the “Website”). This policy does not describe information collection policies on websites not provided by Lifetime Creations, including those linked to from the Website. It also does not cover information you may choose to share with other users of the Website. For purposes of clarity, this Privacy Policy does not cover the manner in which Etsy or Amazon collects or uses your information.

THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We do not collect any personally identifiable information about you other than that which you affirmatively choose to submit to us, such as your e-mail address, postal address and name.

From time to time we automatically collect certain non-personally identifiable information when you visit the Website, such as the IP address of your computer, geolocational information from your Mobile Device (collectively “Geolocational Information”), the time and date of your visit, the pages that you access, and the number of times you return to the website. This information is not used to identify you, but is used in the aggregate for our internal marketing and similar purposes. This process may involve the automatic placement of a small, removable text file (commonly referred to as a “cookie”) on your computer’s hard drive.

In order to provide certain services to you through our website, we may, at your consent, collect Geolocational Information as defined above from your Mobile Device, your wireless carrier, your browser, or certain third-party service providers. You may decline to allow us to collect such Geolocational Information, in which case Lifetime Creations will not be able to provide certain Services to you. Because your Geolocational Information is subject to abuse by others, please be sure to manage your Mobile Device and privacy preferences on the Services on an ongoing basis.

WHY WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may use the personally identifiable information we collect to communicate with you from time to time on topics that we believe may be of interest to you.

You may notify us of any changes in your personal information, or request that such information be removed from our records by e-mail to support@lifetimecreations.net. Please be aware, however, that if you choose to have your personally identifiable information removed from our records, you will no longer be able to receive certain updated information from Lifetime Creations, or participate in various functions of the Website.

HOW WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION

We collect information directly submitted by you and may automatically collect the types of information outlined above through cookies and other technologies. We and our third-party service providers use these cookies and similar technologies to analyze trends to track information about your use of our Site or Services and gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may combine this information with other personal information we collect from you (and our third party service providers may do so on our behalf).

You can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level, but if you choose to disable cookies, it may limit your use of certain features or functions on our websites or service. By continuing to use our Site and Services, you are agreeing to our use of cookies as described in this Policy.

What is a Cookie? Cookies are small files that are placed onto your device (e.g., computer, smartphone or other electronic device) that store information when you visit a website. Pixel tags (also called web beacons, clear gifs, or tags) are a similar technology that consists of small images or snippets of code that can help the website owners learn how you interact with websites and emails. Some cookies allow us to make it easier for you to navigate our Site and Services, to deliver relevant local resources, remember browser preferences, and improve our visitors’ experiences on the site. There are two types of cookies: session and persistent cookies.

Session Cookies: Session cookies exist only during an online session. They are typically deleted from your computer when you close your browser or turn off your computer. We use session cookies to allow our systems to uniquely identify you during a session or while you are logged into the Site or a Service. This allows us to process your online transactions and requests and verify your identity, after you have logged in, as you move through our Site.

Persistent Cookies: Persistent cookies remain on your computer after you have closed your browser or turned off your computer. We use persistent cookies to track aggregate and statistical information about user activity.

Disabling Cookies: Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but if you prefer, you can edit your browser options to block them in the future. The Help portion of the toolbar on most browsers will tell you how to prevent your computer from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether.

Visitors to our Site who disable cookies will be able to browse certain areas of the Site, but some features may not function. To learn more, visit cookies.
